I think its a few factors, the power of sky and its a good card in its own right. But I think the fall out of last years whole pulling out of the purse bids story has actually helped sell the fight, before that they were both relatively unknown outside hard-core fans - but that really made news and adversely has helped build it into a grudge match and increased the profile of the fighters. Boxxer didn't get a lot right last year, but from that mess he's ended up with the fight on sky bigger than it ever would of been before
I was on the lookout for the final presser earlier? Couldn’t find anything on it, I know the fights on Sunday night so maybe tomorrow, unless they not having one? Prediction is Wardley late KO or points, Clarke is terrible.
Wardley will ko him within 6 that doesnt mean i dont think Wardley is himself a ko in waiting though he says he fights better when someone hurts him thats alright at the level he is at now when he gets hit at a higher level he wont get the chance he will be out cold.
Right money down on Clarke rounds seven to nine. Come on big fraze. Tbh if gorman had got himself in shape he'd have destroyed him early. Was lighting him up like a Roman candle although saying that Nathan does have phenomenal hand speed. What a waste.
Don't see much about Clarke to get excited seems a bit slow and plodding and not sure his power is anything to write home about. Favour Wardley in this one. Just had a bit more fire and snap about his punches and might have more gears than Clarke.
I think it could be a lesser version of Price against Allen, where Clarke just boxes Wardleys and wins a wide UD. Obviously Wardley has a good punchers chance though and have we seen Clarkes chin tested?
Yeah all fair points. Clarke had the better preparation for his pro career and his list of wins is probably stronger but Dinu Wach etc are all fighters on the way down. Should be an interesting fight.
I get a Joyce v Dubois feel with this one. Think Wardley will run out of ideas and Clarke’s experience will be key.
Fancy Big Fraze to win. I think he will be a bit too savvy for Fabio. Great heavyweight domestic tussle though. You cant beat them.
Marku is a huge ticket seller in his own right, no doubt helps the numbers? My favorite part of this card is that fact most people have the "UWC boxer" as favorite against a very experienced amateur. Just goes to show how different the pro game is.
