Yeah, I've just had that email. 15 quid a month. What did it start at, 1.99? And the service has definitely got worse rather than better.....
Cancelled for the end of my billing period, you keep the £9.99 level till the end of your 12 months. £14.99 a month is absolutely indefensible, and I can't imagine many will stay if aware of the increase. Since the turn of the year I've watched Felix-Crocker and Smith-Zepeda, and will have laid out come the end of the month £39.96. I can't even watch Haney vs Garcia at the weekend as part of my subscription. Contrast this with my NOW TV subscription at £23.99/month where I have been able to watch all the PL and Football League games, darts, golf as well as Buatsi-Azeez and Wardley-Clarke (not to defend Shalom, but I looked forward to these 2 fights more than anything I've seen from DAZN thus far this year).
Are you not excited for Al-Taawoun vs Al-Khaleej in the Saudi Pro League tomorrow? Content like that at £14.99 is terrific value
That Russian who keeps pumping money into it like spunk into one of his maids thinks it's a cracking idea.
I cancelled mine, unfortunately my billing period doesn’t end until next March so hopefully it remains £9.99 until then and that not really worth it, looking at the upcoming fights the next show of any interest that is not a ppv is Catterall Taylor 2 at the end May, four ppv’s in six weeks is a utter **** take, Haney Garcia has no business as a ppv in the U.K., although it’s not even listed Canelo Munguia is heavily rumoured to be ppv and is the exact same no business as a ppv in the U.K., even the June 1st show I would love to know who exactly had the bright idea of putting it head to head with the champions league final as that is going to massacre its potential buys, the worst thing is I can’t see anything changing as long as they go down the Saudi route.
That's a ridiculous increase @Trafford whys this happening? You tend to have your ear to the ground with DAZN
Based on the UK based content 'included as part of your subscription', it is not even worth £1.99 per month. The only way to get change is for everybody to cancel their subscriptions. Boxing was booming before DAZN UK and will be around long after the death of DAZN UK.
A question for the diehard DAZN UK subscribers still continuing to support this floating dead duck - is there still the option for a one off annual payment?
Did not realise that constant DAZN UK references 'and much more' was a reference to a future 50% price hike.
Just had a look signed out at what’s offered to new subscribers and by the looks of it no, it’s £14.99 for the 12 months and £24.99 for the no commitment.!
Me too. If you click the 'buy now', it pre-selects the upcoming PPV in return for a month free (or £5 off the first month at £24.99). So eitherway your first month is 20 quid and then you're either locked in for 165 quid or 25/month from then on. There is still a £120 payment up front option... which disappears until you un-select the PPV! Couldn't make it up.
