Because most his kos were either dives, or against laughably outmatched opposition. You can plainly see, on film that he was a featherfist. Never fails to make me laugh when someone as muscular, and built as that hits like a powderpuff.

And he punched Mighty Joe Young in the face. Primo was fearless! https://i0.wp.com/donherron.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/Carnera-v-Young.jpg?resize=768,630&ssl=1
I wonder how he would’ve done in a skiing competition against Patterson https://www.efootage.com/videos/98885/floyd-patterson-and-winter-sports
True to form, Floyd kept getting back up and he wore no disguise during his leisure pursuit. All credit to him. Did anyone notice an oversized hand reach out from under the snow to cause Floyd’s first fall? Maybe I’m just imagining it. Floyd had a private pilots licence also. Not that there’s any correlation or common ground between the required skillets, but after watching Floyd ski/skate and crash, I would probably think twice before agreeing to be one of his passengers. When planes crash, odds are, no one is getting back up.
