Briggs should retire along with his trainer JL?

just read on ********* that Briggs has pulled out of his fight with mendoza! what's up with him? he was useless in his last fight against that south african middleweight yet he still has the nerve to challenge green, mundine and even soliman. he pulled out of garay and now this fight? this was a gret fight for him to see where he is really at and thats whats wrong with aussie fighters, they get the chance to stand up, and walk away.

think he needs to have a good hard look at himself as to whether or not he wants to continue. maybe he's been hanging round that clown lewis too long and its rubbing off?

he's not exactly got time to be stuffing around so he should either get his head right or retire before he gets hurt.

Sad to see Briggs pulling out of fights.:-(
You wonder if his heart is still in it anymore.:think

I reckon he should challenge Danny Green, & if he loses call it a day.

on recent form doesn't deserve thsi fight and I would imgaine would ask for ridiculous money in which he brings very little to the table. easy kill for green on recent form as there is no way he could handle green's oncoming pressure and power.

Yeah Green on recent form would have to beat Briggs imo................

Yeah after watching him in his second fight with Adamek that is exactly what i thought. That he no longer has the heart and desire.
I felt he ould have did alot more and just let it slip.
I would have loved to seen geen fight him after that fight.

He is now known as Paul "missfire" Briggs, he was sparring Haumono so he might have been knocked out.

Don't talk absolute rubbish. Very misleading. Garay pulled out of negotiations to fight Drews rather than Briggs in an eliminator. He's injured, big deal.

You've got no idea...

You're a rooster mate. First you have a sook attack about Lewis saying that Green could beat Tarver after he originally said that he should retire, and now you're saying the same about Briggs because he's supposingly postponing his fight due to injury.
No fighter should fight injured, Briggs apparently proved this in his last fight. green has postponed/cancelled fights due to being injured before too, so I guess he along with whoever is training him should also retire?

Clown! :patsch

I've been spending too much time on the hutch lately, they're not as foul mouthed over there, and I guess it was starting to rub off on me.

Btw, I noticed a poster called 'muttley' browsing over there. :think

Briggs could do with a read of his own book I reckon. Such an inspiring read, he needs to be reminded of that hunger he had to be world champ. Hope he still has it hey, would be a real shame to him fade out of the scene. Chin up Briggs!

I have heard a couple things about Briggs and why he pulled out, I will not talk about here and I hope we see him back in the ring soon.
