Juan Manuel Marquez vs. Roger Mayweather @ 135

Best of each at the weight, so:

The 35 year old Dinamita that destroyed Casamayor and Diaz vs. the 25 year old Black Mamba that fought Pea?

Please share not only your pick to win, but also how it plays out. :good

I think now Marquez realizes hes not made for boxers with any type of slickness. He performs well against guys that come forward. I think Roger would beat him somewhat close to the way his nephew did. Marquez is too slow and he looked horrible with the extra weight. Mayweather made him look lost.

Would it look at all similar to the Casamayor fight? :think

I think Joel would have done better were it a younger, faster version with reflexes intact - but by that same measure Juan was no spring chicken himself.

Of course peak lightweight Roger has a significant age "advantage" over the version of Marquez that campaigned (campaigns :? ) there.

Cassamayor seemed to change his style to less of a mover in his last few fights as well. I think age played a factor in both. Cassamoyer was more of a boxer mover at his best rather than a slick boxer puncher.
