What glove size should I get?

I'm going to buy some gloves which will be used for sparring and bag/pad work. I weigh 140lbs and 5ft 11 so you can imagine I don't have a whole lot of power and strength if that at all matters. Also about mouthguards I read some have Level 3 protection for this and that, does this matter? I can get a mouthguard for a couple quid but it doesn't mention any protection levels.

Thanx.

If you are going to use the gloves for sparing aswell get 16oz. They can get a bit heavy at times but 16oz is what most gyms use for sparring. Get a pair of 10oz aswell if you can afford it.

We use 14 ounce, thats the min for sparring, but dont use your sparring gloves to hit the bag, get some 14 or 16 ounce "Sparring gloves" for just sparring and pick up some everlast bag gloves for the bag work

OK thanks. I do already have bag gloves but I was told by someone at the gym it doesn't really matter, but yeah I'll bring both along from now on.
