pain in back calf
 
when iam on my toes boxing i get a aching pain in my right leg its the calf ( iam orthodox) any1 know what it is or help.

Are you making sure to stretch those muscles before and after working out? I have the same type of pain if I am not stretching enough.

Yeah stretch properly before and after training. Deep tissue massage, and keep it warm during exercise, try knee high socks like Kostya used to use. It's most likely muscular.

it may be posterior shin splint, orthotics help...

it may be posterior shin splints, orthotic inserts can help... search for this condition on google to see if it fits your pan profile

if its shin splints, don't mess around with it, let it rest and then work it slowly to make the musscle stronger. shin splints are a big bitch

Bingo. I have had this before, stretch the shit out of your calfs before and after a workout for a few months and you should be ok.

thanks guys it isnt shin splints as it only happens when doin boxing but it is fine when running. i will just do as abc said because somehow i dont believe people will appreiate me walking round with knee high socks.

Always stretch before your workout and rest it until the calf strain heals.
