Rate the Chances of these European Heavies

On a scale of 1 to 10, just rate the chances of any of the following heavies you know of of winning a word title, or, just say something informative about them.

Re: Rate the Chances of these European Heavies

Rate the top prospects:

RobertHelenius
Kubrat Pulev
DennisBoytsov
Vyacheslav Glazkov
Magomed Abdusalamov

How do they relate to American and British prospects? Do you see any of the following being able to compete on their level?

Deontay Wilder
Tor Hammer
Tyson Fury
Derrick Chisora
Tom Dallas
David Price

How about these guys with promising records who are unheraleded or seem stuck in the middle? Do any show anything to you to indicate they might make a champion?

Alexander Dimitrenko
Francesco Pianeta
Timur Ibragimov
Albert Sosnowski
Alexander Ustinov
Oleh Platov
Neven Pajkic
Edmund Gerber
Ondrej Pala
Andrzej Wawrzyk
Mariusz Wach
Vladimir Virchis (if he is even still fighting)
Yakup Saglam

Finally, does anyone know anything about these undefeated heavies in the deep ranks of Boxrec?

Jarno Rosberg
Lucian Bot
Murad Khalidov
Vladimir Tereshkin
Andreas Gustafsson
Arnold Gjergjaj
Erkan Teper
Krzysztof Zimnoch
Jerome Le Banner
Nikolay Israelyan
Alexey Soloviev
Newfel Ouatah
Matteo Modugno
Janne Katajisto
Bogdan Dinu
Arild Haugen
Dennis Rasmussen
Michael Wallisch
Sirhei Supronovich
Herve Hubeux
Leif Larsen

from all these guys listed, the only 2 i can imagine as WORLD CHAMPIONS in the future are Vyacheslav Glazkov and Denis Boytsov. They are Young, skilled, fast, exciting and in shape.

Re: Rate the Chances of these European Heavies

I will rate their chances of winning a world title belt before their career is over. None of them are fighting either Klitschko in 2011.

5 star = Ring Magazine Champion, 1 or more world title belts.
4.5 star = Major world title holder, and top 3-4 Ring Magazine Rated
4 star = World title holder, WBC, IBF, WBO, WBA..top 5-7 Ring Mag Rated
3.5 star = Good enough for a regional belt, and possible world belt.
3 star = Will not crack the top 10 in their career. May get a title shot
2.5 star = Will not crack the top 20 in their career, but decent enough
2.0 star = Top 25-50 Box Rec type at best
1.5 star = Will quickly fade after their first or second stoppage loss
1.0 Hype job

Example of a 5.0, Wlad or Vitali Klitschko
Example of a 4.5 Ruslan Chagaev
Example of a 4.0 to 4.5 Sultan Ibragimov
Example of a 3.5 to 4.0 Valuev
Example of a 3.5. Laun Krasniqui
Example of a 3.0

This is an aewsome response! :good

I appreciate the time you put in.

You don't think Dimintrenko looked a little better with the jab in his last outing? I still kind of hope the guy becomes a major player, although I admit it is wishful thinking.

Yes, he looked better, but he was not in vs a top 20 guy. I gave Dimitrenko a 3.5. The problem all these prospects have is this. None of them will beat either Klitschko right now outside of a the puncher's chance. Once Vitali retires ( which may be in 2012 ) the WBC belt will open up.

I would give Povetkin a 3.5 to 4.0, and Adamek a 3.5

You don't even think Pulev, if he is brought along right, with his combination of size, ability and experience?

I like Pulev, there moving him quick but with 25 fights he can be a danger. It depends on how he develops

You gave more points Pulev than Helenius. Helenius has been sparring more dominant fighter as i know, but otherwise good job:deal

Here's the thing. None of young guns have beaten a top 10 heavy, so it is difficult to tell who is the best among Pulev, Helenius, or Glazkov.

I do think Pulev has much better speed, and better athleticism and skills in comparison to Helenius. Pulev at 6'4" 1/2 is a big man too. Helenius is a little stiff, but my guess hits harder and take the better punch in comparison to Pulev. Glalzkov is only 6'3", but I think he takes the best punch of the three, hits a little harder than Pulev, and is quicker than Helenius. As an Amateur, Glazkov was the highest rated of the three. Who is the best man? Hard to say for now!

I don't think Pulev, Helenius, or Glazkov are going to be aces capable of trumping the deck, but each of them has the potential to become a king once the Klitschko's are gone.
