Any idea why some boxers do runs with weighted gloves?
 
Any1 know why they do this? And what exactly does it help with?

Build up endurance in their arms.

Running with weighted vest is a bad idea. Already enough impact on your knees with just your bodyweight.

Depends on the weight......... 100 kg will destroy your knees and 0.1 kg will feel like running with a phone in your pocket.

It's not so bad in circuit training is it?

I guess it’d depend on a weight class of some sort.

20 lbs is a whole different classic weight without the frame to back it up.

For running that is......... circuit training ultimately should have less impact on the joints.
