This is in response to two threads detail and article they claim restores Bernard Hopkins championship:
Please read carefully. GoldenBoy filed their claim with the California State Athletic Board. RING Magazine, who happens to be partially OWNED by Goldenboy, announced that because they believe that the fight result will be overturned to a NC, they won't "officially" reward the title belt to Chad Dawson until AFTER the findings of the 13 Dec 2011 hearing. Furthermore, the WBC president stated that they stand by the resulting TKO decision pending review. They said because it was a championship fight, that it will be reviewed and they support the review.
Nothing personal, but please stop allowing your "fandimonium" to depict something that isn't totally accurate. Unless GoldenBoy is granted a hearing prior to the December date, we all just have to chill, wait and listen to the former champion make a complete fool of himself during his media blitz. :bbb

The post that is making the other claim pulled the "so called" article from Ring's website. It was posted in the RUMOR mill. Just to double check, I went to [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] to see the press release, and there was none. No banner stating "breaking news" or nothing. However, there was an article from Suliman stating his support of instant replay in boxing.:good

No problem. I think it will be an NC also. Not because it's deserved, but because of GoldenBoys "juice" within the industry. I will pray for NO REMATCH because it would serve Bernard justice to have to regret his decision for the rest of his life. Like a "bank robber" trying for that last big score, but gets caught. Got away with it for years, but not this time. The thing that really angers me is that he doesn't need to do it, he's that gifted!!!
