Who's a Better inside fighter - Ward or Froch
 

If the fight does go on the inside who do you think will have the advantage?

This fight could turn out ugly and be similar to the Ward vs Bika fight.

Initially i thought ward will fight him on the outside and box but looking at more tapes of ward's old fights, I think ward will try to smother froch.

In my opinion if Froch goes aggressive he'l take a close decision, but I think he is going to try to jab with ward and give away too many of the early rounds.

I think Ward is the better technician, has much shorter punches than Froch, whereas Froch kind of slaps on the inside.

I think Ward would be considerably more skilled on the inside.

Froch's slaps on the inside, sure.. can be effective, when he holds and slaps. I think the ref will neutralize his holding and hitting. Whereas Andre Ward will just put his punches together, keep a tight guard and go to the body.

Froch may be physically strong, but Andre Ward is not a puppy. He's a very big athlete, just look at the weigh in of Ward vs. Kessler. Ward is a huge guy.

Technique>Strenght on the inside. Although you're right, Froch is a strong guy and you never know, but I think Wards physical strength is comparable at the very least.

I think it goes like this

Ward on the outside

Froch in no mans land

Ward inside

if Froch keeps the fight at medium range he is good

froch's inside game isn't that good. Glen Johnson proved that.

Ward can win this fight anyway he wants.

Wait, what facts are you going by that Froch is stronger and tougher, I never understood why some people say that, Ward is as tough as they come and his physical strength is severely underrated, Ward gas not been bullied by anyone not Kessler, Abraham, nor Bika, so where does your logic come from?

Ward has a great inside game. Froch is clumsy on the inside he just holds and hits the back/side of the head

Froch has taken more punishment so you can say his toughness is more proven, It's a personal opinion he is slightly stronger than ward.

I have to give the edge to Ward on this one...His inside game tends to get overlooked by some...Very, very underrated IMO.

Ward is by far the better inside fighter, it's his bread and butter. Froch is sloppy inside.
