Abraham/Wilczewski - Any views?

Guys this fight is coming up next Saturday, will Artur have a high enough work rate to beat the tough Polish fighter. I know he can hurt him as Degale had the Pole hurt during there EBU fight and Artur punches harder than him. However Wilczewski works very hard and he could put rounds in the bank but will he get a fair shake from the judges.

Good fight

this fights in Germany, no way will Wilczewski get the decision, even if he has a better work rate, he'll either have to KO Abraham, or win by Abraham DQ for lowblows or whatever

but this will be an exciting fight to watch, no doubt

I'm interested to see how much Abraham has left after the Ward and Froch losses

Abraham will start at his normal pace but by round 4 or 5 he'll start landing some bombs.

The Pole is tough but I dont think he'll survive to hear the final bell.

Its a great card though, really looking forward to it :bbb

Abraham and his stagnant career are generally boring, but I am curious to see if Wilk can survive. :think

Pior will outbox him for the first half. Abraham throws some bombs, KO 8.

IF Pior can somehow take his shots, It wouldn't be impossible to outbox AA to a UD with fair judging.

I wish Wilk the best, but the odds are stacked against him.

No doubt he will come to fight, though.

Absolutely. If Abraham wants this win, he'll have to be in seek & destroy mode.

The whole "cruising in the turtle shell" schtick ain't gonna cut it.

Abraham by KO in about 8-9 rounds.

I expect Wilczewski to do well in the first few rounds.

It's hrder and harder for him seems to mee to come out of the turtle shell mode which is why I give Wilczewski a beter chance than normal.

AA wins no matter what since it's in Germany

AA would win even is the fight was in Wilczewski's grand-mom's garden in Poland. :tired:tired

You are sounding as biased as the German judges everyone is worried about. :good

Watch DeGale vs. Wilczewski, and then watch Abraham vs. Bozic/Farias (we won't even mention the 3 elite level SMW's he's been pistol whipped by - just the ones he's faced that are at or below the same level as DeGale) - and then see if you can honestly say that there isn't a very good chance of an upset if the Pole makes it to the final bell (and that he has an okay chance of doing that).

Obviously the favored option is Abraham by KO. The next most likely is Abraham by robbery or gift draw. Then Farias by tight decision (which most will feel ought to have been wider).

Abraham by legitimate deserved points win, Wilczewski by stoppage, or Wilczewski by shutout on the official cards - those are the only really outlandish and unthinkable outcomes in this one.
