Adameks next opponent

so, after beating aguilera, adamek is going through a 2 week rest period due to his badly swollen hands.

hes got a fight on the 16th of june as far as im aware. anyone know if the opponent is set? or, if the opponent isnt set, who he might be fighting?

There have been talks about Kevin Johnson. I suppose that is under the condition that Johnson beats Leapai this comming sunday.

But I also read that Adamek may not be ready for that date.

Malden matchmaking: Lets get Jennings versus Aguilera next.

Re: Adameks next opponent

i think adamek could make it (16th june), but johnson could pose a big problem for a less than 100% adamek.

seems logical though, the fight that is. i guess adamek will get another go at a klitschko before long (should he overcome whomever he faces until then), maybe towards the end of next year... but for now, johnson, one would hope.

i would personally like to see adamek fight mariusz wach, in poland. could be a decent domestic fight for the two, with wach's stock on the rise at the moment after his last win. also provides adamek with more experience against taller heavyweights.

Agree. Johnson looked pretty fat at the Leapai-presser though, so im beginning to have some doubts. Was quite sure he would win a decision.

Adamek - Wach sounds good too. I imagine that would be a big money fight in Poland ala Adamek - Golota. Does Wach and people want to though?

Adamek should fight Jennings, then the winner fights Seth Mitchell, & the winner of that fights Wlad next year. :deal

Yeah, i would imagine it would be in poland, probably in wroclaw. seems to make sense for both of them, as it would be a relatively big money fight among the only two viable (szpilka needs more experience) polish heavyweights at the moment.

not heard any news coming from wachs camp, but i cant see why this fight wouldnt happen. wach hasnt fought anyone of adameks level, and its a big money earner for someone like wach (who is in no way guaranteed to get these sorts of fights often, if at all, in his career).

That sounds even better, & it gets Sloth Wach to lose his '0'. :good

he'll probably rematch arreola after Wlad makes a paint job of his face

as for 16 June, Adamek will probably face someone from the Top 30

haha yeah, hes defo got sloth like characteristics

but yeah, this would be good to see. would mean we are finally seeing some contenders face off; as opposed to just waiting for their shots/paydays at the k' brothers, whilst fighting C level competition.

its a possibility, a very likely one. but its not something i, or many others i assume, would like to see.

i would even consider going to see adamek vs wach, if it was in wroclaw or somewhere big :think

Adameks hands are healing well. No broken bones or staph or tendon issues. Read in a recent article he should be good to fight in June.

I'd love to see him fight Povetkin or Eddie chambers.

Adamek would beat Povetkin by close decision in a tough war, but lose to Chambers by close decision, provided it's Fast Eddie & not Fat Eddie in there with him.

I think Adamek is a big step up for Jennings but not a big step up for Adamek.
I would like Adamek against Boytsov. Adamek against Dimitrenko but we know that won't happen.

Dimitrenko is really mediocre, it's already obvious Jennings is better than that oaf.
