JDS v Velasquez II

I don't see anything but this fight happening.. JDS is riding high, and Brown Pride is hungry.

Let's do it in September!

Cain coming back and with a better game plan

I still just have no real interest in this match. :?

I don't know what it is, maybe its just that I don't find Cain or JDS real interesting guys or feel there's chemistry there. Obviously Cain has something to prove and JDS just looks fantastic in there, but its just not a fight that intrigues me at all. Even Cormier, the guys to me are just pretty bland and I can't really get behind them like I would Brock, Mir or Overeem. I think I like the attractions and the charismatic guys rather than dudes like Cain or JDS who are the silent type with the heavy hands, just not something I'm hugely into.

But it'll be a big fight, and I guarantee a lot of people will pick Cain once again. And after Cain's performance tonight, I'm inclined to agree.

I picked Cain the first time around, and that backfired.

I very well may pick him the second time around. I'm often not the type to learn from my mistakes.

I love the match, though. I think they are clearly the top two heavyweights, currently. Cormier does show a lot of promise, though. He seems to be Cain with better wrestling, and crisper boxing. I don't know if he has the the same killer instinct, though. Cain is a born fighter.

Trade, and earn some respect.

JDS is too dangerous, and must be broken. They will bang like Holyfield and Bowe.

Good matchup, I think Cain gets it this time. He lost coming off an injury and long time away from a game fight.

It's different when you are hungry and the other guy has something you want vs. You have something everyone wants and aren't quite up to snuff.

I think this rematch is more like the first time the two saw each other. Both are going to be primed coming off big wins and little to no rust.

Dana pretty much confirmed this during the Post-Fight Presser. This fight is happening and I'm giddier than a schoolgirl going to see the backstreet boys... or whatever gay guys that teenage girls like these days.

Cain versus the winner of Werdum/Russow should be what happens. Winner of that gets the title shot. That fight in on June 23rd.

Cormier coming over and getting an immediate shot would be nice. It would give JDS a fight while the rest of the division settles itself.

Make it happen! The rematch is a natural - not to mention it gives the rest of the division a chance to find the next number one contender.

Pretty sure I'd piss myself if I saw that (Pic 1) staring at me from the other side of a locked cage.
