Degale v Stevenson IBF eliminator?

The only way Degale will get fights these days will be on away shows for rival promoters, like his last fight in Denmark, as he's in dispute with his own promoter.

Edwin Rodriguez turned down an IBF eliminator today and Degale will be the highest available contender. If he beat Stevenson in Canada he would fight Froch back in UK.

Will he take it? Doesn't seem to anything else happening for him untl the next EBU mandatory comes around for him to fight abroad again.

Why would Degale try and get into a position to fight Froch?

The poof won't even spar him :-(

DeGale's over-sized ego would seriously get deflated if he fought Froch.

Groves is in a better position for the WBO. WBC and WBA with Ward. At least it'd be a title fight at home. Think he probably doesn't spar Froch as doesn't wanna give anything away for future. Wouldn't mind if this scenerio came up, Degale won, then Froch hopefully batters him in Nottingham.

Rubbish, he is the only person in world boxing to get Gervais in a position to fight.

I don't like Degale as much as the next person, just thinking that his stupid trainer might be giving him ideas that he shouldn't give anything away and that he'd be too much for Froch in the future, etc. Think he's stupid more than scared, to be reasonable.
