vitali k last fight ?

If Charr is going to be VK's last fight i am going to be very disapointed his choice of opponent is very poor . It would of been nice for him to go out with a at least semi-meaningful fight .

what are yout thoughts in the europen forum

Vit should make a grand exit, not against some bum who got outboxed by the likes of Taras Bidenko and ages-old Zack Page

i think the circumstances dictate his opponent. its all well and good bowing out in a grand finale, but few boxers have ever had the results of an election looming over them. as such, i can imagine it was hard for vitali to get anyone to the negotiating table, on the grounds that its hard to get a gauranteed fight nailed on. i assume thats what he has in this fight, is a guarantee that the fight will take place, no changing dates, hes fighting someone with no negotiating power/leverage.

i dont like the fight, but its going to happen.

I doubt if it will be his last fight. I think he might fight Haye after Haye beats Chisora.

It'll be a spectacular KO.

A nice treat to the Ukrainian fans.

This thing with Charr is more like a stay-busy workout-fight than a final fight.

An easy fight to test his shoulder.................

Re: vitali k last fight ?

Hi, F. Yes, that too. I hope his shoulder is OK. Guess that is retirement plans will have to be based on that.

My own shoulder was bugging me too. I hurt it overdoing my sledge hammer workout, mainly going too high, but the main thing I did wrong was brag about how my shoulders have been injury-free. Never brag about being healthy. The daemons in the aether will hear you and do you mischief. it always happens.

Charr is undefeated and in his prime. He holds wins over former fighters who fought for title belts, and beat a solid journeyman in Bidenko. Still, I would rather see Haye or Povetkin in the ring with Vitali…but they will not fight him.

As long as Vitali looses the major of Kiev election, he’ll fight on.

Charr is a very rare Arab heavyweight contender. He was born in Syria.

I really hope he does.

Could you imagine how much it would add to the record if he had those two guys, Haye and Povetkin, on it?

I know I sound like a broken recrod, but given that he is going to hit 41, I don't see why he couldn't take some old guy fights and get a few of the guys int he ring that passed him by before.

why do people say that Vitali needs Haye on his resume? Haye is insignificant as a HW,( REPEAT AT HW, NOT CW) he's given no contribution to the history of the division, apart from KO'ing bums and stinking up a unification fight with Wlad

Povietkin has a better resume than Haye so he'd look better on Vit's resume, but does Vitali have anything left to prove? I don't think so
