Donald Curry vs Kirkland Laing

Both in their primes at WW. Can the "Gifted One" be able to handle the "Cobra"?

i loved watching laing fight but i can only see Curry landing a big shot when Kirks hands are low and the Ref stopping the fight with Kirk up but not able to continue

Laing had the natural ability to beat anyone. With the exception of the greats such as Leonard,Benitez etc. And he COULD have beaten Curry. He WOULD N'T have beaten him,though. After building up a small points lead,Laing loses concentration which spells disaster against a precision puncher like the 'Lone Star Cobra'

Curry...all the way. Laing was gifted but at a lower level than Curry imo. I think Laing gets stopped. I know Jones was a banger but he wasn't the most mobile and sometimes had trouble letting his hands go, but he still caught up with Laing twice. The smoother Curry would get to Laing quicker than Jones, I also don't think that Kirk had the world class power needed tp keep Curry honest.

Factor in that Kirk was erratic at best (for example L KO7 Buck Smith; L pts 10 Reg Ford), I really don't see Kirk having much chance here.

Donald would stop Kirkland in three rounds, it's not really a competitive matchup unless Donald does something to mess himself up in the ring.
