What's the best thing to follow a straight to the body up with?
As a southpaw I always try to make openings with my jab/feint jabs and then smash my left into their stomach. I want to follow up but whenever I try to, I get countered. As soon as I land the straight I need to get out of there

A right hook to the head, or bounce out and bounce straight back in with a left uppercut or straight left upstairs.

keep it simple ,,show the jab to the body & follow with a straight left ,double jab to the chin ,,,the jab to the body is more of a faint for him to walk onto the straight left,,the double jab is a back up to score a hit

As an orthodox, when I fight southpaws I jab the head, straight right to the body and slide to my left while throwing left hook to the head. It works beautifully, so try the southpaw version! (Jab, straight left to body, slide right while throwing right hook to head)
