Do you respect the Klitschko brothers for NOT wanting to fight Evander Holyfield?
 

Evander is 49 years old by now (turns 50 in one week) and the Klitschkos publicly stated several times that they dont want to fight Holyfield. For no money in the world.

“Many, many times Holyfield has said that he wants to fight with me or my brother - but I refuse to go against him in the ring,” Vitali Klitschko is quoted.



“He is my idol. I can’t do it for any amount of money.”


Do you respect such behaviour or do you consider it ducking by the Klitschkos?

To be honest, I don't know much about the Klitschkos but they come across as respectable, decent people. I'll probably get proved wrong by someone though!

Yes. They don't need to do that. It would be like Ward fighting Jones right now and whipping his ass at his old age as far as boxing is concerned.

I respect it quite a bit, both would give Holyfield a horrific beating and noone wants to see that.
Even though they could make a ton of money doing it.

And with both brothers holding all the belts Holyfield seems to be finally seeing reason and is talking about retirement because he does not want to fight himself into a mandetory position (thank god for that)

I respect them. Nobody wants to beat up on old men, and Holyfield just needs a payday. They are doing the right thing.

Aye. There's name recognition and money there, and of course Holy has been more than willing, so good on them for refusing a fight against him. I like the Klitschkos, even if I only occasionally bother to watch either fight.

Yea I respect them a lot for actions like this. Evander shouldn't box anymore let alone against the best two HWs in the world.
