Looking at him on ringside this week he looks very overweight?

He's certainly put on a few pounds but he's not training to make 175 any more and isn't a professional athlete so he's bound to have bulked up slightly.

A lot of fighters just suddenly have the freedom to eat what they want after years of making weight and just balloon like Duran, Nas, Tyson etc.

well his last fight was in nov 2008, so he hasnt been training for a fight since then, been enjoying his food because he had to starve himself in the later years to make 168 & everyone puts on a few pounds as they get older

I remember Calzaghe hated making weight sweating .He hated getting down to 168 I read in his book .Probably just a few good weekends and not training.

Has probably put on around 2 stone but still looks good for an average man.

Nah he used to walk around 15 stone between fights he is way more than 15 stone now. Bet he is a 36 + waist.

Although his book was utter gash with less content than a colouring in book, there was one amusing story in there about Calzaghe's struggle to make 168.

He hadn't eaten anything for two days and was in an absolutely foul mood, on the way to the weigh in he had a pre mixed bottle of fluids which had re-hydrating powder in it that he was desperate to drink as soon as he had come off the scales at the right weight. On the way up to the podium to get on the scales Enzo Calzaghe, like a spanner, tripped up the stairs whilst carrying the bottle and spilled the whole thing all over the president of the WBO and was then frantically apologising and trying to wipe the guys suit down while Joe looked at him like he wanted to kill him!

so he's around 17 stone then,a klitscko brothers weight,i dont think so,he's not four or five stone heavier than his fighting weight..

It's hard to guess someone's weight by looking at them on TV they do say the camera adds 10 lbs!

He looks about 15 stone to me but he is a tall guy with a big frame, we're used to seeing him looking ripped and lean in a boxing ring so it's normal that he'd seem a lot fatter now when is probably just a normal weight for a man of his size.

I didn't look at him and think "what an enormous fat cunt" when I saw him on TV tbh.

Considering 5 foot 6 ricky hatton was 15 stone before he lost it all yes joe could easily be 17 stone plus now. He carries the weight well but the bellys showing now.

15 stone max id say,its because he use to be a ripped fighter we think he looks fat,if he was a man on the street he would just look like a normal bloke,he has lost muscle aswell and muscle weigh's more than fat,if he's any more than 15 stone id be very suprised..

ducked dawson please he'd of destroyed dawson and would tomorrow not only this but dawson struggled to fill the 5000 capacity joint in vegas, thing is with lacy is was a good fighter with hype but as soon as that type of fighter loses hes shit people like calzaghe CANT WIN, dont get me wrong should off gone to the us sooner
