If Hatton's punch resistance is gone, he's getting KO'd by the first semi-decent puncher he fights

For his problems, Maidana happens to be a pretty thunderous puncher

Maidana KO

Marcos was in with a Big Puncher in Karass who was also fighting @ 154 in his previous fights.

Maidana is very heavy handed. Once he lands those bombs on Hatton, It's Over. I don't think Hatton has been in the Ring with a Knock Out Artist like Maidana.

Funny, I just mentioned this as a fantasy fight that I would like to see in a different thread.

I'd favor Maidana who would be able to land his right hand at will.

Interesting match-up! That would definitely be a stiff test for Hatton. Too stiff, perhaps, given the damage Marcos can do.

I would love to see this fight but at this point, Maidana is very Dangerous for Hatton.

Possible but how many times have we seen Maidana down and comes back?
He got hit with a Good Body shot against Khan in the early rounds and then gave Khan a good beating after that, Just imagine if it was a 15 rounder?
