Cloud - Murat - Caracas, Venuvuela?

Why?

Also, couldn't Cleverly have got Cloud if he's fighting in Venuvuela next?

Frank could easily sort out a unification with Cloud, Tavoris isn't a ticket seller and needs a good win on his record to start earning more money.

The way I see it, Frank and Clev are happy fighting nobodies.

yep :good clev is in the game to make a quick buck by all accounts, if he can get paid knocking over cans in south wales thats exactly what he'll do, because people will keep cutting him slack and buying tickets because its Bhop/Froch/Shumenov/Cloud/Wlad/Tyson next

but tbf judging by the cancellation of the Uzelkov bout due to poor sales maybe they'll be forced to step it up?

This is all to do with Don King. He won the purse bid for Arreola/Stiverne and chose to put it on in Caracas. Cloud is with him so he goes on the card to ensure HBO or more likely Showtime pick up the card. He paid silly money for the Arreola fight so needs one of these to pick it up.

From what I can tell its because Don King's gone senile and thinks Arreola is Venuzuelan.

How's Murat gotten on since he lost to clev? Any chance of him beating cloud?

Same night as Hatton fight, I was checking the Hatton card and noticed this on its own at the bottom of the Boxrec page. One more of Kings dodgy dealings? Wonder how much Chavez has slipped him for this one.

What rubbish. If you believe that, then you are a fool.

Frank and Cleverly are going after Hopkins and Shumenov. Both these fights are close so why look elsewhere. In fact, both fights were almost done.

Cloud was supposed to fight Pascal and now has to fight Murat. Cloud has his own priorities.

Doesn't unification take precedent?

They are going for the WBA belt. Alternatively, a win over Hopkins will boost Nathan's reputation. This is the path they have chosen. The other fighters will follow.

Although they would fight any big mane if the opportunity should arise. But like I said, they clearly have a plan.

Cleverly will never beat Hopkins.
