Initially posted this thread wondering what was next for Chauncy Welliver. Had a look around and it sounds like from this article at least Chauncy is soldiering on >>>


The “Hillyard Hammer” Chauncy Welliver (53-7-5, 20 KO’s) will bring his act back to the United States when he fights in Kalispell Montana on November 9th.

Welliver has lost his last two outings overseas- to Kyotaro Fujimoto and Sherman Williams by decision- and is happy to be back in the U.S. fighting in front of his family and friends.

According to the 29 year old Welliver, “IT'S ON! I fight November 9 in Kalispell. I’ve been waiting to fight here for a while now to show off for my family and friends in this beautiful city.”

Welliver’s opponent will be named in the coming days and updates will be available at 8CN. Look for a convincing night for Welliver on the 9th as he attempts to re-establish dominance in the heavyweight division. Prior to the last two defeats, Welliver had won 18 straight bouts and had quickly established himself as a top10 heavyweight. Under the tutelage of trainer Joe Hipp and strength conditioner Ali Crosbie, look for Welliver to put on a good show for the fans in Kalispell.

Chauncy reputedly has a fight in 2 days time in Kalispell, Montana. But I've heard no mention of who his opponent is/was, and there's no mention of it on BoxRec :think
