I dont think this is a "classic" question (thought i guess they are both pro boxers from the past) but Danza has a much more legit fighting background...Rourke would only have about 10 pounds on Danza (yes i am saying let Rourke come in at his fight weight of 178) Rourke will find out Who's the Boss as he is laid up in a hospital bed for 9 and a half weeks.

Re: Tony Danza vs. Mickey Rourk

yeah id say Pallance would..legit 200 pound fighter who was at least as good pound for pound as Danza and likely better.

Don't know if Danza's KO of Max Hord was legit, but Hord was a pretty sturdy journeyman and says something about Danza having some talent and punching power.

If Hollywood's an all-embracing term for show biz, S, include Mario Lopez. He was a helluva HS wrestler; plus he opened eyes of gym rats regularly sparring at Wild Card a few years later, dropping, stopping 'n KO'ng top amateur 'n pro talent

There are so many intangibles to being a good pro, i rarely go out on a limb for a prospect (one day over a beer, we can talk about Jack Palance, Paul Newman 'n a host of others; but with one qualifier (if Mario had started boxing much earlier, just off his punching power alone, he could've been a crowd-pleasing contender, amateur or pro. He's truly a baby-faced assassin.)
