Tony Danza vs. Mickey Rourk
Hollywood Championship, "prime vs. prime" at catchweights.
Who wins? |
Re: Tony Danza vs. Mickey Rourk
Danza KO 1
CUZ HE'S THE BOSS! |
Re: Tony Danza vs. Mickey Rourk
I dont think this is a "classic" question (thought i guess they are both pro boxers from the past) but Danza has a much more legit fighting background...Rourke would only have about 10 pounds on Danza (yes i am saying let Rourke come in at his fight weight of 178) Rourke will find out Who's the Boss as he is laid up in a hospital bed for 9 and a half weeks.

Re: Tony Danza vs. Mickey Rourk
many of Rourkes wins where either full on dives or really suspect guys...Danza fougth some legit fighters..and won.
|
Re: Tony Danza vs. Mickey Rourk
I would say Danza. I heard that he was legit. more than Mickey was.
|
Re: Tony Danza vs. Mickey Rourk
Danza and quickly.
Jack Pallance beats both the same night :D. |
Re: Tony Danza vs. Mickey Rourk
yeah id say Pallance would..legit 200 pound fighter who was at least as good pound for pound as Danza and likely better.
|
Re: Tony Danza vs. Mickey Rourk
prime bob hope likely beats mickey rourkes ass as well..that would be a fun thread..name people who would kick the shit out of rourke
|
Re: Tony Danza vs. Mickey Rourk
None of these mufuckas got anything on prime Ron Palillo. You noobs think Palillo was in his prime against Diamond. :rofl Up all ya'll's noses with rubber hoses, mufuckas. That was like Ali/Berbick bein' treated like Ali/Foreman.

Don't know if Danza's KO of Max Hord was legit, but Hord was a pretty sturdy journeyman and says something about Danza having some talent and punching power.

There are so many intangibles to being a good pro, i rarely go out on a limb for a prospect (one day over a beer, we can talk about Jack Palance, Paul Newman 'n a host of others; but with one qualifier (if Mario had started boxing much earlier, just off his punching power alone, he could've been a crowd-pleasing contender, amateur or pro. He's truly a baby-faced assassin.) |
