Arnies Gym

Alright lads, essentially I'm so unfit its become stupid, too much :hat:rasta.

Anyone know if Arnies runs any amateur classes or something like that?

I fancy getting in shape again and see this as the ideal way. If not Arnies where should I start out. Should probably mention, I'm 23 with no boxing experience whatsoever.

I don't think Arnie does personally, can always PM him and ask though.

Yer, I wouldn't expect Arnie to tbh, but I'll pop him a PM over anyway, was really just wondering if they ran amateur programs through the gym as its effectively round the corner from me.

Not sure how things are up north, fellas. But all the big gyms down here have classes for the 'layman'. My local gym Islington ABC is packed to the rafters most evenings and allows all in. There's a lot of girls taken up the sport recently too. Luckily they've just renovated and expanded the gym so everyone can be accommodated. Most gyms should have classes for the public, so just pay them a visit and find out.

Is that on Bradford Road? I don't back from work until around 7 which is a blow.

I'm absolutely crap at boxing.

Probably worse than I am at football. If I don't get chance to shoot on my left peg it's brutal stuff.

Not bad at passing, left foot only of course, and alright at kicking people... but other than that I'm turd.

Haha.... no mate.

Watching me trying to get it on my left and pull the trigger is like watching Tony Jeffries in his early pro fights, where he pulls the right hand as if to say ''counting down, 5... 4... 3...''
