There is a ton...I'm sure there is a couple of threads that go into detail about this.

Michael Nunn and Donald Curry. I dont see how the heck kostya tsyzu, dwight qawi, barry mcguigan and ken norton are in but those two are out. I would put buddy mcgirt in the hall of fame too if barry is there.

probably because Donald lost his biggest fight he ever had, and Nunn never really had the big fight. Nunn in 1989 was great and Donald in 1985 was great, but it did not last long. Then look at guys like Hagler who dominated for 7 years at middleweight.

Considering Jeffra and Marcel aren't in, I'd say Virgil can wait.

Flea, do you really feel that strongly about Marcel? I agree he should be in by now, on the basis of his credentials, but don't think he's the slam dun shoe-in Hill is.

Hill had about a zillion combined title defenses light heavy and cruiser with wins over some really outstanding fighters. Plus he was still competing at a world class level when he was pretty much a mummy.

Do you just think that deserving fighters should be inducted on a chronological basis, or do you just think Marcel is clearly that much superior to Hill?

I thought Brian Mitchell's induction was way, way overdue, but I never thought Ricardo Lopez shouldn't be inducted until Mitchell was in, because Lopez was obviously deserving in his own right.

Who said im comparing them to marvin hagler? By the way, whats your definition of a big fight? Fighting names from smaller divisions. Nunn sparked kalambay in 1 round, kalambay is better than any middleweight hagler ever beat. Nunn is clearly more deserving to be in the hall than pipino cuevas.

There's a lot of contender sorts who were fantastic fighters in stacked divisions, guys like Gil Turner, Kenny Lane, Jorge Fernandez, Bobby Dykes, Yama Bahama, Don Fullmer, Jose Medel, Joey Archer, Isaac Logart, Luis Federico Thompson, Jorge Ahumada.

Then you have the champs like Lionel Rose, Johnny Famechon, John Conteh and Santos Laciar who are thereabouts.

My choice would be Ernesto Marcel as far as greatest goes, but I do understand that his resume is pretty thin and that has to be taken into account.

I agree with Ernesto Marcel.

Joey Archer, Virgil Hill..if they can put in Hill and McCallum, why not Roy Jones?

Certainly Naseem Hamed for all he brought to boxing.

I do not see how Edwin Rosario has been put above the other top fighters during Chavez's generation.

There are many others, I just can't think of them right now.
