Haye in the Jungle. Good for boxing?

have never watched the jungle show in the past but have kept my eye on it this time because haye is in it.

I think he has come across very well and is a good thing for boxing in general.

how does everybody else feel about it?

No cos he's an egotistical muppet.

I don't think celebrity shows like this will affect the sport of boxing. The women will like Haye so they might watch him fight, but they would only be Haye fans, not boxing fans.

Amyway, he isn't doing this as an ambassador for the sport, he's only trying to raise his profile so he can go on other crappy shit on the telly. I wonder if Adam Booth is feeling like Ant and Dec are muscling in on his bromance with his beloved David?

The sport of boxing is made up of individuals, be selfish, because the only team that matters is yourself.

This is good for David Haye.

Sure, if it keeps Haye out of a boxing ring it's good for boxing. :D

Seriously though, Haye's retired from boxing.
Vitali probably won't fight again, and I doubt Haye will be a challenger IF he does.
I suppose Haye might make a comeback if Fury or Price become big names, but that's not on the immediate agenda.

Haye wants to be in movies. Having his semi-naked body plastered all over the tabloids for a few weeks could help him land some roles.
It has little impact on boxing.

Pretty much. Haye doesn't want to be a boxer he wants to be a c list celeb who once happened to box occassionally .

Don't know it it's good or bad for boxing, but it'll definetly be good for his PPV numbers if he ever gets to fight a K Bro again.

Put it this way ...

I gave my ex wife and her friend a lift somewhere today ... and they where both talking about Mr Haye having a shower in the jungle :huh

Neither of them have ever discussed a boxer before as far as im aware of.

He has a good impact in the jungle then its probably going to open a variety of doors for him in the future.

It would be good for boxing if he got bitten by a deadly poisonous snake or spider.
