WV2 says no to fight against Lopez at 128

They don't agree with the catch weight, top is at 126.
Otherwise he wants the title back at 122, the winner or Donaire and Arce( he lost to both)
Not interested on Rigo's belt.Sounds familiar?:D

Danm! That's unfortunate.
That would have established the winner instantly.

I'm sure someone will be here shortly to declare that the reason he's not mentioning Rigondeaux is because he already knows Rigondeaux would turn him down or because Arum is protecting Riondeaux

Not a good look for WV2 after all the bad blood & talk of a JuanMa fight Vasquez will receive a "Pussy" label for this.

It might be a bargaining ploy. Complain about the weight and a few more dollars might get thrown his way. I think this fight gets made, its probably Vazquez's biggest option at the moment and he takes the fight.

Expect also; who has Rigo fought so far to deserve a shot at wv2?

I hope your assessment comes true. JuanMa Vs. Vasquez would make an excellent styles clash for fans of both fighters.

Interested to see where Lopez fits in still & How Vasquez would approach him.
(Hope this still gets made somehow)

I really like this fight. Lopez has been off for a while(10 months by fight time) and doesn't quite seem like the same fighter. That might be the opening Vazquez needs to pull the upset. Their styles and feelings for each other pretty much gaurantee a good fight. I really hope it gets made.

Negotiations are definitely not going to be done with this one.
