These last few weeks DeMarco has been hyped into some sort of beast that's going to cause Broner all sorts of problems when in reality this is the same guy that got his shit pushed in by Edwin Valero and was getting outboxed by paperfaced Jorge Linares but now out of nowhere there's all this undeserved buzz as if Broner has stepped up his competition level when in fact DeMarco is probably a notch below Ponce De Leon in terms of quality.....Broner TKO within 10 and please no 'Broner vs Duran?' threads on Sunday :bart

funny how Demarco is also "the beast" Valero's best opponent.
saying you think Broner would spark Demarco out, you're actually giving him props on the low and pretty much saying he's a damn good fighter.
surely someone who "lost" to little De Leon shouldn't be favored to KO someone like Demarco, right?

like it or not, Broner will be ranked #1 in the division if he wins. and it's a great win.

Can't we just come to a happy medium? Broner and Demarco are being overrated by their respective fans. They are both solid and it's a tough challenge for both. If Broner wins he gets full credit. If Demarco wins Valero gets credit. Ok but seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if Demarco pulls it off because that is one baaaad dude. Not the most technically sound fighter out there but he is no joke.

It will be a solid win. Something for a young fighter to build on, but not career defining.

Just keeping things in perspective :yep

Valero fought nobodies that's why DeMarco is his best win.

Ofcourse he's looking very good I just hope we see him fight some other very good fighters soon and not have to rely on him beating up C+ fighters then have his fanbase run a PR campaign to have us all believe those C+ fighters to be great.

Like I said I think De Leon is a better boxer then DeMarco.

I fully expect him to be ranked number 1 at 135 lbs :conf

It'll be a good win for a 23 year old against a top three lightweight fighting in a new division. I'm not gonna make it out to be something it's not but he deserves credit if he beats him and beats him well.

i don't think so, but maybe he is in a H2H sense, but as far as being a more dangerous opponent against the current Broner? nah, Demarco is a much more challenging fight, having to deal with his height, reach, and power. and he's quicker than PDL.
