The Baer fight for sure (particularly the triple left hook he throws that fells Baer at one point; outstanding) and of course the Schmeling rematch.

Actually it was a penta left hook.....five consecutive left hooks. first two missed as they were too wide. last three you see louis shorten them up and all three land producing the KD

Noone before or since. Louis had abilities unequaled to this very day. Very special fighter was Joe Louis.

Apparently the final combo that put away Johnny Paycheck was insanely fast, similar to the one that Ali threw against Brian London.

And the shot that finished Uzcuden was so fast that many observers didn't see it.

I was always wowed by his combination against Simon. He fell over shortly afterwards, which took something away from it slightly, but still...

The two opponents posted here were huge. It is likely that it is part of the reason he looks faster.

Watch his first KD of buddy Baer in fight 1. Louis eaves under Baers guard with a perfect left hook nearly breaking his 6'6 250 pound opponent in half. He then follows through with a right cross dropping his opponent like a dead man.
