Quigg is a level above Frampton

I've picked Quigg to win for a while now but I always thought it'd be close. I'm not so sure any more. I think Quigg would have a fairly easy night with Frampton.

Hard to tell based on that. Munroe is nothing like Frampton and I couldn't see Quigg having that same success to the body with Frampton and apart from the body shots I don't think Quigg looked great.

Munroe was a shell of himself. Good performance by Quigg though.

Quigg looked very good in there, I'd still favour Frampton over him but with no certainty. There at a similar class level IMO

I be honest that was a mighty impressive display but we must look at Rendall's straight lines and lack of quality straight punching to counter Quigg's body punches and his lack of protection to body with his guard (good work Joe G and Quigg for exposing) were a major reason why he struggled. Quigg had it down to a tee and boxed really well but i did see him look a little unsettled defensively at times but for most part he kept his poise.

I think Frampton offers Quigg far more to think about on a offensive aspect.

TBH each time I see each one fight I favour them to beat the other when they meet!

I just think it is a real 50/50 fight; probably the best domestic match-up out there.

That's what happens on this forum

Frampton puts in great performance - "Frampton's way too good for Quigg, he'd beat him easily!!!!"

Quigg puts in great performance - "Wow, Quigg's awesome. How's Frampton going to cope with him?"

Or if one of them puts in a bit of a sub-standard performance they reckon the other will beat him. Like when Frampton struggled against Turley or when Quigg didn't look great against Arthur.

I haven't watched Munroe in a couple years, haven't followed him at all, but what has happened to him? Wasn't he an utter beast a few years back?

Munroe tried to work his way back to high level opposition too quickly, saying that he seemed slow and a bit laboured and not as strong.

Once upon a time he would eat those shots up and then power his way to victory in the mid rounds for either a decision or late stoppage.

He couldn't deal with the quickness of Quigg, I think 'age' has caught up with Rendall. Still I don't think he'll quit, he won't like to go out like that.

I think Rendall went stale personally, lack of activity and waiting around i think he came out of his prime and he never developed. Only so many times you can go to the well and outwill and strength opponents. Quigg is a fringe world class operator still looks fragile to me but is very decent.
