Re: Pacquiao-Marquez Trilogy Scored
been asked a few times why i scored the 3rd fight for pac.......
listen to lederman on why he scored the rounds for manny in the 3rd fight, i certainly didnt agree with the amount of round he gave manny 116-112 pac was busier throwing and landing more punches than marquez in most of the rounds, he was pushing marquez back and sometimes marquez was simply not punching enough. yes marquez was accurate there is no doubt but if he would have punched more and landed more he could have won the fight. i dont just score the rounds on punches landed, its crazy to do so, you hv to look at quality of punching and what affect it had on the opponent. Marquez in some rounds was landing cleaner blows that would win him the round even though pacquiao landed more...basically he landed the better punches at least 3-4 rounds could have went the either way very very very close fight there is my explanation on why i scored for pac |
Re: Pacquiao-Marquez Trilogy Scored
The 3rd was the closest - meaning the close rounds were very close and could go either way.
In my opinion the first 2 were easier to score - the Marquez rounds were fairly clear Marquez rounds and likewise the Pacquiao rounds were pretty clear also. I do remember round 7 in Fight 1 being the most difficult to score Fight 2 i think there was more daylight round by round. Fight 3 in that respect was the closest... |
