who do refs and judges work for?
This is probably a dumb question, but i would love some clarification regarding who ringside judges and referees work for, are hired by, are selected by and are paid for for professional boxing matches. is it the promoter that selects them? does the commission or sanctioning body select them?

I think promotors pay them but they are appointed and approved by commissions. Commissions are their life line to working.

Commissions.
Some judges are just so blatently fucking corrupt they shouldn't be allowed near a ring. Glen Trowbridge and Roger Tilleman should be fucking gassed. |
