Are you guys watching and scoring these fights:huh Pac has no problem with the style of Marquez at all, he can pretty much hit him at will, however Marquez is the only fighter out there that is not intimidated by Pac's punch and after getting hit he will immediately come back and give just as much as he gets, its amazing how Pac can dominate bigger fighters with his punch but Marquez can walk threw him.

He takes Manny's punching angle away and sets up his own, and ends up landing the better shots while rarely getting hit flush. It is not at all a matter of "walking through" the punches, he just doesn't get hit with them in the first place most of the time.

Watch more boxing, seriously. There's no way you can say Manny hits him at will, unless you're trolling.

Well I watched and scored all three fights yesterday, ESPN was having a promo for the fight and decided to show the previous fights

He dropped him 3 times in the first with huge shots, he then when on to stun him a set number of times

He dropped in the 2 fights as well and if there were more time in the round he probably would not have made it considering he came close to being dropped again

3rd fight he was rocked plenty of times, he landed on Marquez just as much as he landed on Cotto, or Margarito, etc.

As stated before he is the only fighter out there that is not intimidated by Pac's punch, for some reason he can take it better than fighters alot bigger than him, I have no explanation for it.

Yea TS does have a point. It's not just the style because if it was simply that then Manny would of dropped JMM this last time or even worse. Folks seem to forget how this time around Manny was supposed to destroy JMM in 4. JMM took some pages off Manny's book and started working on his , erm, nutrition, and JMM's footwork and defense hadn't been that good in awhile. JMM wasn't always waiting for Manny to lead so he could counter. JMM did pretty well leading at times too. His jab is underrated as is his timing. If not for the help from Memo JMM might of been kinda flabby, but the truth is JMM is just too smart for Pacman and just about every fighter not named Floyd.

He doesn't walk into the shots, stays low to roll with the shots, circles so that Manny can't even land the shots, parries a lot of the ones that come his way, and positions himself to see any that do eventually land coming so as to brace for it.

Marquez has all the tools that Manny hates: straight right hand, uppercut, know how to nullify pac's rythm, equal footwork and body movements. Imagine if dela Hoya has all the JMM attributes: Oscar will murder Pac by the jab alone!

He's the only boxer who faced Manny that has consistently taken away his angles, a.k.a. one of Pac's bread and butter.
