This is why Lewis never fought him.

Not a good matchup for Lewis. He never does well with guys that have iron chins and amazing KO % (Vitali)

Ike v Holy or Tyson would have been epic.

Ike had too good of a chin to get KO'd, but not athletic and skilled enough to beat Lewis

It's difficult to call, Lewis had a dodgy chin, sometimes tired late and often flattered to deceive but also plenty of heart and power plus for a big man he was quite fast.

Ike had relatively few weaknesses but maybe this is because he did not have enough fights for his weaknesses to become known. He had almost supernatural stamina, good speed and power and a great chin.

From what we know of both fighters it probably would have been a good fight and I think ike would've won a decision ultimately

Knowing both guys this would have been a very hard figh for me to watch but one I wouldnt miss either. As for Lennox ducking Ike, they were one fight away from getting it on. Sadly the Vegas call girl scenario scuttled that along with Ike's career
