How does Broner fare against Mayweather
 

in terms of boxing skills at the age of 23. Generally speaking who has the edge in the following areas:

Jab
Overall Defense
Conditioning
Body Punching
Chin
Footwork
Punch Power
Ring IQ

I really wanted to do an in-depth post here,but I just can't see anywhere where the most complete fighter of the last 20 years does not supercede Broner.
P4P,Broner may have more power,but Floyd does that short jab where it's basically just an arm extension yet very effective.
He's one of the finest components of "Hit and don't get hit",he's a beast in the gym and can do twelve rounds without breathing hard.
I don't see him as a great body puncher,but he doesn't need to be.
Chin is solid.Look at the fuss they made of Mosley's punch yet for me it was **** all in the grand scheme.
His footwork is on a different level to Broner's.
And ring IQ shouldn't be up for debate.

And I rate Broner very highly.

assuming you mean when he was 21-23 years of age, floyd was light years ahead of him at the age of 23 and is currently now. only thing i can honestly give broner is power and thats debatable if you use floyd at 23

Broner has more power and takes more risks with the style. That is about it.

Floyd is greater in every aspect and remember Floyd below 140 had plenty of power so lets see Broner at 140lbs + before we start declaring he has more power than Floyd.

Also their defense is not even close. Broner is a very good fighter but the clone can never be as good as the original - Never!
