If you could change the outcome of one fight, what would it be?
Let's say you could go back and change the outcome of one fight. Actually, since there are so many options I will say one recent fight and one classic bout.
Obviously, as a huge Cotto fan, I would change the outcome of Cotto/Mayweather. It would have given my favorite fighter of this era a legitimate ATG win and altered his legacy. He would be known as the guy who beat the unbeatable rather than a guy whose career was likely altered due to Margo's wraps. Historically, I would change Ali/Frazier III. I've always been more of a Frazier guy. I come from a blue collar background and think it would have been great to have Frazier win the rubber match of that rivalry. How about you? |

McClellan Vs. Benn, G-Man by KO.
Reason: the aftermath of this fight. |
Re: If you could change the outcome of one fight, what would it be?
Haggler v Leonard
Always been a bigger haggler fan and I think he deserved the win. Or Eubank v Watson II I think Watson could've gone on to be a real someone and would've had a greater legacy then Benn or Eubank |

Re: If you could change the outcome of one fight, what would it be?
Foreman vs Ali
Because I'm a Foreman fan (obviously), and because it would majorly screw up boxing history. |
Re: If you could change the outcome of one fight, what would it be?
Morales-Barrera III.
barrera deserved the decision, but I wish it ended in a draw. It would've been fitting. |
Re: If you could change the outcome of one fight, what would it be?
Chavez v Taylor,
Every time I watch I feel so sorry for Meldrick, he fought his heart out. Thrill in Manilla I wish Frazier would've got of that stool |
Re: If you could change the outcome of one fight, what would it be?
Judah-Tszyu: what could have been, Tyson-Douglas
|
Re: If you could change the outcome of one fight, what would it be?
Pryorr Arguello 2. would have been awesome for their to be a trilogy
|
Re: If you could change the outcome of one fight, what would it be?
Vitali-Lewis, then we would of seen a rematch without a doubt, LL wouldn't want to retire with a loss
|
Re: If you could change the outcome of one fight, what would it be?
Marquez v Mayweather, i wouldnt want the farce taking place....or id want mayweather to jump into a straight right a lil bit too fast and get emptied.
Id change the end of Duran v Leonard 2 cos as much as i love Duran what the hell was he doin Margarito v Mosley....Unusual choice i know, im glad he got a fuckin pasting off Mosley in hindsight but at the time Margarito was my joint fave fighter and the whole revelation that he wasnt the unstoppable hardworking underdog i had built him up as and he was just a cheat really pissed me off and soured me on the sport at the time. Couple of others stick out, would change marquez v pacquiao 3,Abril v Rios, Mathysse v Alexander, cox v sai and Sexton v Bayaar...give the W to the person who earned em. |

Froch vs Bute
Tyson vs Lewis |

I wanted Manny and Floyd both punished for not taking their fight, so Cotto-Floyd would have been a good one. Or Marquez-Floyd.
