Lucian Bute vs James Degale
 

Been told by a source that this fight is going to take place on the undercard of the Froch vs Kessler fight. Not sure whether to believe it though due to different promoters etc.

Can't see it happening degale is with channel 5 and Froch v Kessler is likely to be on Box Office.

Suppose it were to happen...

I don't think Chunk has quite enough power (or ferocity, really) to make Bute relive the nightmares of his last trip to GB.

No way this can happen unless it's on Channel 5. Good fight though on paper.

Degale and Bute have some similarities in terms of weaknesses that can be exploited so I'd imagine if they were to fight, it'd be a bit of a chess match. But there's only one winner of the fight.

Bute has much more variety and power at his disposal than Degale does and I just can't see what James could do to get around that.

Be great if it happens but I doubt very much it will. They won't be able to afford Bute, he hasn't got the bottle anyway and Hennessy won't let DeGale fight on Sky Box Office.

Very interesting match-up maybe for the future though. Both have good skills but blaring weaknesses.

Is bute going to be on the Froch undercard? Can't see that happening.
If not then Theres no reason this couldn't be on channel 5 is there?

i think de gale would win this. could see it being a technical fight and i think Bute would come to box and i think thats when degale looks classy.

Cant see it coming off. Big chance for De Gale if it did though. I think he would win as well.

One hell of a fight if made, but it make no sense for Bute.

Hopeful but I just can't see how this gets made.
