Las Vegas Mayweather fight advice?
 
Ive booked up for vegas on may 1st for a week when the Mayweather fight is on and have not been to vegas before and have a few questions and any advice would be much appreciated :good

how possible is it to get tickets when out there and roughly what prices?

is it possible to attend weigh in and if so any cost?

any other must do boxing related things to do?

I'd say tickets would go pretty quick but you would get them from the MGM grand website, if there's anyone who went out for Hatton?

You have a slight chance of getting tickets while your out there but they wont be any cheaper than what you pay on ticketmaster. Don't risk it.

Yes. Pretty sure its free.

Not really but theres plenty of other things to enjoy. Try and head downtown to see the Mob Museum, I went a few weeks ago was allot of fun.

Where are you staying?

Biggest advice for Vegas. Bring lots of money, nothing is cheap on the strip.

Im staying at the luxor meant to be decent location and fairly cheap compared to mgm grand

Well that isint the case... there are some good happy hours if you know were to go :D

I almost booked up I got my ESTA and tried to put it through on expedia and the page froze .Next day I ended up booking for Holland .First week in May I could maybe go for that as well time will tell though .

The weigh in is free. Not sure if it was worth it though. I queued up from 9am to get a decent spot in the line, then when we finally got into the arena, had to wait another 3hrs for the fighters to come out. It was a pacquiao fight though and he is known for turning up late so maybe that was why. The buzz was definitely gone though, with most of the day!

there is a few places in the planet holywood shopping bit that have them mate ones called blondies sports bar and there is rock bar down the front aswell.

also in the MGM there is a bar called the west wing ,that has a decent one aswell .

times sq bar in NYNY aswell mate ,but that is quite a short one. :good

aye we booked last year, that weekend and a weekend in sept your gurenteed to have a big figth ...

Fantastic cocaine in vegas,splattered me wife up against the window of the mgm.go to the old town and drink your way back,plenty of cheap bars.
