Im not a huge boner fan but its obvious ppl would have called for the fight once boner won a title at 147, floyd knows he wiuldnt beat a younger fresher version himself. Considering boner looks to be on hbo for the forseeable future floyd ran as usual. Excuse is ready. He fights in a diff network so the fight can never be made.

Nah floyd didn't jump ship to duck broner....but this thread got me to thinkin'.....You know there's a pretty good chance Hayman and GBP moved floyd to showtime so that there was room to grow broner and/or canelo at HBO. Think about it, who is HBO going to milk for the vaunted PPV $$$ now that they've lost the biggest money guy in the sport, Pac? YA right. There's now a lot of insentive for them to build these two guy into the next massive PPV stars, and without having to pay huge liciencing fees for floyd's fights they'll have the budget to do it.

The other added bonus for GBP is that for years HBO has been making bullshit fights/mis-matches with GBP prospects only because they had to suck up to GBP cause GBP was bringing them mayweather. Now showtime will have to do the same but HBO GBP controls canelo and broner the two money men that are left at HBO so expect HBO to have to continue making life easy for GBP. Moving Mayweather makes it easier for GBP to control the board. Nice move from many angles.
