Was Khan even hit on the chin/jaw when he went down?

Hi, long time lurker first time poster here..

With all this talk of glass jaws and china chins, could anyone confirm if Khan took a shot on the chin when he went down? i only saw it once at the time but it didnt look like it.

If anyone leaves themselves so exposed, then walking on to a sucker punch of a shot to the temple will have the same effect on most fighters.

Hopefully Khan has now wised up that he cant just walk through punches head first.

He took a few shots. It was a joke, he got caught and couldn't cover up. He was so open it made me cringe. He really needs to get a trainer who can help him with his defence.

Yep, but be honest they were temple shots and a couple barely landed. IMO he was put down easily by average shots from a below average puncher. I know there are those who'll disagree and that's cool. I like Amir I've had the pleasure of meeting him briefly and he's a nice guy, but he needs to work on his defence as a matter of urgency.

We were going to upload the full fight earlier toninght to let everbody see it, as it was great fight.

However, the awful things the Khan fans are saying about Limond in Youtube put us right off, & we decided not to bother.

Stuff like calling Limond a 'crackhead' etc... Do Khan fans know anything about boxing? limond is a proud family man & a self employed joiner who works long hours 6 days a week besides being a full time fighter to support his family, Limond is a credit to the sport of boxing. I dont mind Khan the fighter, but his fans are a pretty horrible bunch going by their fanatical screaming on Youtube.

Fuckers are all in screaming personal insults bout Willie, & deluding themselves that Khan was pushed & wasnt really knocked down:-(

I would be lying if I said Khans mad nuthuggers havent got to me, cos they have.

Dunky mate, I've been down the boozer this afternoon and everyone thinks that the knockdown was legit. Don't worry about that.

The bottom line is a lot of Khan fans aren't boxing fans. They only follow Amir and not the sport and they buy into the hype and more without fully understanding sport. It's a shame because Khan deserves decent fans as does Willie, they both earned their money last night and the fight was damn good.

aaargh! Its Sugar Ray Clay Jones jnr!!! That was a weird entrance wasnt it, him coming in with the scream mask to that prayer, Not saying it was bad or anything, just saying It was a bit strange! Not used to that as a boxing fan am I!

Im not really into mixing religion with boxing too much, as I have seen too much blood on the streets due to religion cos of the Rangers & Celtic football & religious rivalry throughout the years, without religion manifesting itself in boxing also.

I prefer it when the boxers just come out to 50 cent tunes or similar crap like that to be honest!

What shows me that Kahn was hurt was the way his back leg spasmed after the first punch connected...

Good post Nulty, & I see what you are saying. Im not going to hate Khan cos of his fans, cos to me Amir is a good person & is the real deal. That was a great win for him last night, cos most dont understand just how underrated Willie Limond is, I have followed him for years & hes a good fighter, as he proved. But Khan beat him in his 13th fight at the young age of 20, & I said before if Khan could stop Limond that would prove him to be the real deal in my eyes, & I stand by that.

But I just wish his fans werent such assholes, & tried to learn about the sport of boxing a bit. Im no angel myself, but if I dont like a fighter I can back it up with reasons either rightly or wrongly, but its sickening to read bozos talk about it like it was a common streetfight between two guys who hated each other, cos that couldnt be further from the truth.
