Protein/Energy Drinks
 
Does anyone have anything that they like to make?? If you do post what you have in it and how to make it. I don't get enough protein and I'd like to know how to make some new stuff that might help.

Every once in a while I drink a Protein shake with Dextrose. It's not from a particular brand, I got it from a BB gym owner, he's got big barrels full of that stuff. I don't use the stuff on certain times, just when I feel like a milkshake. If you lack Protein intake you could try it. Another good thing for Protein is Cottage Cheese right before you go to bed. It contains Casein, that's why it has a slow-release effect. Basically your body gets Protein the entire time you sleep because of it.

The only energy drink I have is Red Gatorade. Probably not good for me but I only live once and it gives me that energy boost, even if its only a mental thing, it helps. I don't bother with protein drinks.

Cranberry juice, oats, protein powder, in a blender. I drink 2 a day one an hour or so before training and another as a after dinner snack.
