Can anyone tell me about this guy?

He was born in Georgia and fought out of Ohio, according to Boxrec, and spent most of his career fighting in Ohio and Australia.

In fact, unless I missed it in scanning his record, he never even fought in Alabama.

How good was he? Why wasn't he the Ohio Kid or the Georgia Kid or the New South Wales Kid? What is known about him?
