Weights aren't really meant for targeting the afferent division though are they, it's the efferent division being used. It's the CNS sending the order to overcome the resistance, causing the neuromuscular system to adapt in response to the stress. Feeling is important but training with weights is for gross movements, powerful movements that don't require precision. I respect everything you have to say Scrap but I don't understand your aversion to weights, it can't really be disputed that they do make an individual stronger and in turn more powerful. With a balanced training program can't they only be a good thing?
