And why not mention that as well as the no 1 contender, Wlad also refused to fight his long term no 2 contender - Nicolai Valuev...And now i think about it, why isnt Wlad fighting the best big challengers of his time and instead fighting smaller gus. In Jeffries case it was because the big guys were getting KOd. Mormeck is nowhere near as highly regarded as many big guys (or monroe for that matter), What about Helenius, Adamek, Dimitrenko or even some of the other young unproven talent if you must fight a nobody. And what about some of the former world champions, why didnt he fight Holyfield, when Holyfield beat the WBA champ for all intensive purposes and still had a tiny bit left, or even earlier, when Holy was still a decent name and draw. Why did he duck Tyson and Lewis on the way through. Why does he still (even when they are old) steer clear of anyone with an excellent and proven chin and big punch. EVen guys like Tua, McCall and Rahman are at least tests for it,

Wlad is building a good legacy, and it is getting much better every year. It is though in its own time quite simply not as conclusive as Jeffries reign was in its time. There are some reasons why Wlad could rate higher, but to be honest, they are not very convincing, although they are improving.
