Default Re: Sport Network ban

To be fair, It’s not Frank ****** who has the problem with BBN, but Richard Maynard, who deals with all the passes, etc.

Maynard has a bit of history with BBN’s editor, Ian McNeilly (who also writes for the Sheffield Star and Boxing Monthly), and it reverberated around. I believe it started when Ian laughed at a joke made about Frank on Boxrec. Since then, BBN hasn’t been allowed in to one show.

I’ve spoke to Frank before and he was a nice bloke. I’ve spoken to other people that work for Frank ******: Dean Powell (from the Midlands and is often up here with one of the fighters he managed, Dudley’s British title contender Darren McDermott), etc. They are all nice guys. It just seems to be one man who has a crusade against the site.
