Like was said above, grab your bicep like a sleeper/RNC and drive your hips into the ground like a sprawl.
I tend to find palm to palm easier with gloves on and use the bicep grip in Gi. I might try the Bicep again tonight and see how I get on.

Haha... when the dude shot in I had a big smile on my face. He did the hard work for me!!! I jumped into that half guard!
I always find half guard an easy place to get a reversal a MMA guys...
Hopefully next time I'll not be at heavy... again! My next BJJ tournament is 94.1KG with the Gi so I shouldn't be at heavy next time!
