I always liked the guy. He seemed to get softer as his career went on instead of harder, and there is no denying that. I think deep down he knew he should have struck when guys like Maskaev and Peter were champ, and that he just does not have what it takes to be competetive with a Klit.
It would be a good time for him to quit, and he can walk away now with his full faculties, and be able to say that he was a step away froma title shot. Not many men can say that.
