Yeah and dont forget the Mercer fight where he basically had to tell him to stop crying like a ***** and get out there and fight. Steward's ego is as big as lewis' was.
Funny to hear him say that about Futch too. Futch is on record saying that was a horrible mistake Bowe made throwing his belt away and blamed Newman for orchestrating that. He felt the Lewis fight would have been Bowe's defining moment.
Stewards a great trainer but he talks a lot of **** and just listening to his on air commentary where he flip flops from one side to the next is proof of it.

Lennox learned how to fight like a real champ but never as good as prime Tyson, Bowe or Holyfield and these guys wouldnt have allowed Lewis to fight at a slow outside pace. I think he would have had his hands full with all three of those guys, and his fight with Ray Mercer was proof of that.
