I thought a draw was fair. Hagler fought a stupid fight, or had bad stamina. Hagler always seemed to fight stupid fights in his biggest bouts.

Those cuts that stopped Vito in the rematch were from some of the most obvious headbutts ever. Nowadays it would have been ruled a no contest or DQ win for Vito.
